Rest of year travels

(I moved the NL to Friday - hope it didn’t fluster you.)

First time in as long as I can remember that I genuinely I had nothing on my mind to write about.

So in the interest of consistency, here’s my travels for the rest of the year:

  • July - mid August: Brazil

    • top of my list for Latina America - energy, nature, wildlife, food, and more.

  • Mid August - first week of September: Argentina & Uruguay

    • meeting friends that live in Buenos Aires, might as well pop over to Uruguay while I’m right next door

  • Last week of September to Halloween: India

    • Right at the top of my list for countries I haven’t been to that I want to visit - I’ve read a lot about the history of India, its culture, and people. This is the big one for 2025. Plus the girls…

  • November 1 - 9: Kenya group trip

    • Maasai Mara, Mombasa, Watamu - grateful that enough people have signed up that I can make the trip happen. There’s still some room if you’ve got any sense.

  • November 9 - 25: Uganda & Rwanda

    • I visited Uganda in 2021 with my Dad, this will be a less safari focussed / backpacker style trip. I haven’t been to Rwanda - will be my 10th country visited in Africa. If you didn’t know - the East African Tourist Visa covers multiple entries for 90 days for Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

  • Late November to first week of December: Pakistan (with a lifelong friend whose family is from there)

    • A friend of mine since I was five years old mentioned he’s for sure going to Pakistan in November for a wedding - the time has come for us to finally travel there together.

That’ll do it.

Jacob

P.S. India’s national coat of arms has three lions on it… but most people don’t know they are the home of the only Asiatic lions left.
